Hi what I have is an original 1957 vw oval window bug beetle with a rare factory ragtop (not grafted in like most you will find). It is complete including the original 4 tab hood, but the car needs a complete restoration. The body and pan #'s all match and I do have the title for it as well and I believe this is the original engine as well engine # 1610494. The original color looks to be a copper color as the trunk and inside ceiling are still painted that color. There is some rust as typical with these cars, and does need new heater channels and lower rear 1/4 panels, under battery, front lower section of 4 tab hood, maybe a spot here and there but overall a solid car. The spare tire well was replace with a Wolfsburg west panel but still retains the original 4 finger front and H rear aprons. I did start taking some bolts off to remove the body from pan but to start a resto on it but realized I do not have the time to do this car rite and installed some bolts back to transport car safely. The car has never been hit front or rear. If you are looking for an original car to restore look no further as still having the original #'s matching body and pan with correct engine this is the one that will only go up in value. I can deliver car to Everett area to help with transporting the car to new owner. The vehicle does not run and needs to be trailers or towed. I do have extra parts like lower 1/4 replacement panels drivers windshield wiper and wire tubes for the front fenders other misc. parts that come with the vehicle. Please email with any questions.
