Price: US $46,500.00 SOLD OUT
Backdraft Racing Cobra finished by Vintage Motorsports. If you know Backdraft Cobras, you should know who Vintage Motorsports is. They have a bulletproof reputation for quality finish jobs and BDR gives them their highest marks. VERY IMPORTANT to note this car is titled as a 1965. The overall condition is excellent and it drives and operates as it should. Under the hood is a Roush Racing 342R putting out 450 horsepower and 420 ft. lbs. of torque connected to a Tremec 5 speed transmission. Weighing barely over 2,100lbs, it goes like hell. This is a one owner car with no accidents in its history and, of course, it has been garage kept. This car is turn key. Needs nothing. Alot of people I speak to don't understand the difference between "kit" cars and replicas. The difference is huge. Take Factory Five Racing, for example. FFRs are true "kit" cars. Each one is built individually whether in someones garage over time, or professionally built by someone paid. Many of the better FFR builds use only new parts and can be excellent Cobras, but on the other hand, many are built using DONOR cars. Typically an older Mustang. You never know what you're going to get. My point is, when buying a "kit" car, unless you're an expert and really know what you're doing, you can get burned. Bad. Aside from kits, you then have true replica cars like Superformance and Backdraft. These cars are factory built, documented, quality controlled vehicles. They are shipped to the US without an engine and transmission and the buyer can choose his/her powertrain configuration and have it finished at one of their distributors. They have customer service advisors who, when you give them your VIN, can pull up your specific car and be able to help you. This is why Backdrafts, Superformance's, and other true replicas have so much more value. I can be reached at 443 988 8645 if you would like more information to help you bid. I do my very best to portray my cars accurately and my rating on eBay is extremely important to me so please let me know if you have questions. Maryland bidders must have the paperwork executed at a licensed retail used car dealer.
