1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. Great driver fastback with very nice paint, new interior and a 289-4V. Car was originally a 6 cylinder and I converted it to a V8. I changed to the 5 bolt 8" rear end and 5 bolt V8 front end. Lots of new parts and components... New master brake booster rebuilt front drum brakes lower control arms upper control arms coil springs coil spring perches front shocks inner & outer tie rod ends rear leaf springs rear shocks rebuilt rear drum brakes gas tank sending unit fuel lines radiator & hoses Cooper Cobra tires mounted on vintage Torque Thrust style wheels Mustang center caps front and rear bumpers outside door handles fender emblems tail light bezel and lens rocker panel moldings On the interior... New carpet buck seat upholstery door panels arm rests instrument panel bezel instrument panel lens glove box door sill plates front seat belts The engine is a very strong running 289 V8 with a new 4 barrel carburetor. New 2 1/2" dual exhaust with Turbo mufflers for a great sound. A previous owner did floors and used non Mustang sheet metal. The floors are solid and undercoated but not up to a professional restoration standard. With a little better workmanship on the floors, this car would probably sell in the low to mid $30,000 range. There are a couple scratches in the bright red paint but overall is VERY nice. It was originally J code Rangoon Red but is now 1966 Mustang T code candy apple bright red. The parking brake and radio are not operable, but I believe everything else is working. Car is sold as is where is without any warranty. I will open this auction to outside the US.
