1976 Mercedes 450 SEL 104,000 Miles, California Car, titled as a California Car. Car is located in Palm Springs California. Beautiful original top of the line Mercedes for 1976 in perfect working condition. Very rare to find one of these cars with everything working. I just drove this car every day for the month of February in Palm Springs and it worked perfectly. The car just passed the California Smog test this week on Monday March 2/2015. so it can be titled again in California. It is in beautiful rust free, corrosion free condition top and bottom. All glass is good and chrome and stainless is original and pit free. Car has been repainted recently and is a lovely driver condition paint job that could be water sanded and polished if someone wanted paint perfection, but shows great the way it is. Interior is original and in great condition for its age with new floor mats, tires are new. All power windows work sunroof opens and closes properly and does not leak. Central locking system works, A/C blows Cold and cycles properly. AM/FM radio works and search button works and power antenna works. Both Motor mounts and transmission mount were just replaced and one drive axle at Lino's of Palm Desert, an authorized Mercedes Repair Facility ( who are terrific if you need a Benz guy in Palm Springs ) Car drives quiet smooth and straight and has loads of power and does not smoke at all. If you are looking for a fun vintage Mercedes to drive every day without repair this is your car. I am back in Toronto now so I have put the car up for sale but it is also for sale locally in Palm Springs. Again the Car is titled in California, Smogged, and is Located in California so pick up would be in Palm Springs and US title transfer is simple.
