1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible, Garage Kept, Extra Clean and Rust Free, Starts, Runs, Shifts and Drives Excellent. The Car is showing 80716; which I believe to be accurate; although the title shows exempt. Sometimes this happens on a vintage vehicle at the license branch. Paperwork shows that it had a lot of mechanical work done in 1995 @ 79,636 miles; so it has only been driven 1000 miles over the last 10 years. Prior to 1995 it sat in the garage of an elderly family member of the guy we purchased it from and I think she owned it for many of its years. My mechanic found and fixed a wiring issue that had been draining the battery. It does have a new battery and starter. All of the lights, Wipers, "heat" and even the factory AM/FM Radio Works. (Could use better speakers though); we use a rechargeable blue tooth portable device and sit it on the dash. We drive it occasionally through the winter if the roads are completely dry. I am not an expert; but the floors look factory to me and are in excellent condition; if they were replaced; it was over 10 years ago and look original; please look at the pictures for yourself. The top is in good condition; however the area around the back window could use some trim work or just replace the top to make it perfect. We rarely drive it with the top up; so we had not made the back window area a priority.
