1968 Corvette Convertible, numbers matching 427, 4 speed, two tops . This is a true numbers matching 427 roads ter , all date codes, and stampings are correct on the bloc k , I have great pap erwork on the car from many years ago, and a stack o f receipts. I also have copies of the title s from previous owners. Great t rail of history ! I installed a new gas tank, sending unit , and battery. The pre vi ous owner of the car put on ne w tires, brakes, rebuilt car b, belts, and complete tune up. New hoses for the headlights, one of the hoses is crossed and the lights do not go up, along with the wiper door. I was told its a n easy fix. The body on the ca r is in very go od condition, and I would rate it a very nice presentable cruise night car. The body is very straight, the paint is in very good condition, along with the chrome. New red lens tail lights, n e wer exhaust s yst em give s it a heal t hy big block rum ble. The 4 spe ed trans shi fts easy, and the clutch is good. The fra me under the car is roc k solid, no issues anyw here, and very straight. I verified tha t the engine is correct, I haven't verified the transmission. B ut i t is a m uncie. This is a two top car, corr ec t and very desirable factory ex terior blue color , with a white soft top that was installed a few years ago, still in great conditon. I have the headli ner for the hardtop. The interior on the ca r is in excellent condition, very co mfortable seats, ha ndles nice, and the br a kes are tight.
