It is basically a brand new 48 year old truck, with everything being either rebuilt or replaced. Subtle customizations include push button start, shaved locks, shaved antenna, shaved gas fill, shaved ashtray & shaved lighter. Incredible attention to detail was paid to the whole build. The build philosophy was pretty simple... keep it clean & keep it uncluttered.... pay attention to the details. The bodywork is incredible with no rust anywhere on the truck. The entire truck was media blasted. The cab floor was cut out and a complete new floor installed, as were the cab corners & a new roof header panel was installed. New drip rails were fabricated and installed as well. Gravel guard was shot on both sides of the cab floor and also the lower part of the firewall. FatMat was installed throughout the interior for sound insulation. The body panel gaps are perfect. The paint is Blade Silver Metallic from a 2011 Corvette ZR1 and it absolutely pops. The wood bed is red oak & has 6 coats of cinnamon stain & 6 coats of clear. Finish products by Bruce Horkey's Wood & Parts. The seats are from a 1970 C-10 and were re-upholstered in black vinyl. New carpet and door panels were also installed. The tires are 15" BFG Radial TA's and the wheels are American Racing Torque Thrusts with painted centers. The engine compartment is spotless. Great attention was given to the engine compartment to keep it clean and simple. There is no heat or ac in the truck. There is a firewall panel from Vintage Air that is painted and ready to install should someone want to add their system. Included with the sale is a binder with all receipts + over 750 photos documenting the build & the extra firewall panel.
