This is a 1966 Ford Ranchero with a 289, automatic, and factory ac. It has been sitting for the last 5 years due to previous owner passing. It is missing the ac compressor, ac brackets and pulleys because someone robbed them while it was sitting. The engine was cranked last year and ran pretty good, no smoke or knocks, but I have not cranked it since. The hood has a couple pin holes, but very fixable, rust behind the rear wheels on the bottom of the quarter panels, floor pans have couple holes in them, bed floor is solid, but little rust at bottom of cab where it meets the bed, common Ranchero thing. It is supposed to be the original 289 with automatic transmission and factory ac, not dealer installed as this car was ordered by its original owner. It has a 60/40 seat that will have to be recovered, but at least it is there. The frame is very good and no rot underneath. It would make a great rat rod, complete restoration project or great sleeper car. The 1966 is a one year only body style and I think is is the best looking body style of a ranchero. The tires will hold air and it roils good. A 500 deposit is required immediately after auction or buy it now. I am located in the very northeast corner of Mississippi and new owner can leave car here as long as needed before pickup. I will give a bill of sale as title is lost, but if title is needed, I can get one in Mississippi for 50.00 with waiting time about a month or for 100.00 can be fast tracked in about 10 days.
