Price: US $2,250.00 SOLD OUT
Up for sale is a 1964 Buick Riviera. I bought this car about five years ago from Richard Rawlings of Gas Monkey Garage fame. The car comes with a clear title and a bill of sale from Rawlings (and some extra sets of keys). My understanding is that he bought the car from the Austin Speed Shop some time ago. Anyway, the car is a good candidate for restoration, but I have not made any attempts to restore it. Honestly, it has sat since my purchase. The car has a non-matching 401 nailhead and Iâm unsure of the tranny â Iâm assuming it is a super turbine 400. The upper half of the engine is partially disassembled with many of the parts being in the trunk. I imagine that the engine would need to be rebuilt. As far as rust, the driverâs side floor pan has a fair amount of rust, there is rust at each rear window lower corner, the trunk has a few areas of rust and there is rust in the lower rockers. There is some surface rust, but it is very minor. All of this can be repaired and the car is not too far gone by any means. The driverâs side door skin is off the car and can be reattached. All of the glass is there and is not cracked, etc. The car is complete and ready to go to someone who can bring her back to life. Actual mileage is unknown.
