This is a real deal documented 1970 Ford Torino Twister Special. Original 429CJ, column auto, one of 8 known in this config. in the Twister Special registry. Was converted to bucket seats floor shift before I bought it. I was going to put a top loader in so I have some parts for that. As you can see from the pictures it is in need of a total restoration except for the engine work which was rebuilt by a local Ford guru with all Original Ford parts (about 6K in work and parts) the engine has been rebuilt but not detailed. This was a complete running car when I took it down almost 30 years ago so I have every part and many extras that I have picked up over the years. The major work will be body rust in rear quarters, battery tray area, rear valance and part of the trunk rim, interior was nice when I took it apart it had holes cut in the dash for gauges so I bought a complete dash metal part and pad, door cards back seat and various interior pieces are all nice and will just need a cleaning. Original motor and trans., engine come with a new motor stand Don't know if rear end is original but I think it is. Many new and N.O.S. parts ie. rear valance, battery tray, top loader console hump. 2 complete shaker assemblies 2 correct date coded carbs. 2 dash pads 2 hoods Magnum 500 rims Rear window louvers Bucket seats Complete center console Original service manuals and a bunch of paperwork about the Twister Special's being sold through the Kansas City Sales District, magazine articles, new twister decals.
