Car is originally from Oklahoma where it stayed all of its life until it followed me to Minnesota 12/2012. It has been garaged the three years here and has never seen snow. Fresh paint 3/2015 still under warranty; Acapulco Blue - it's a 1968 Ford Mustang color. The original color was Diamond Blue (very light blue). Door jams, inside the trunk lid, and inside hood were also painted to match. Car was sanded to bare metal and primed/painted clear coat/base coat. No rust or bondo. The original 302 engine was replaced in 2010 with a rebuilt 1997 Ford 302. The intake from the original motor was installed on this engine and the car was converted to dual exhaust. Also, had the original carburetor rebuilt, and added an electric choke. The three speed automatic was rebuilt in 2010 (have receipt). Other new items include: American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels 15X8 rear 15X7 front, 205/60/15 tires, Brakes (front disc / rear drum), tires, carpet, front seat upholstery, Strut rod bushings, Lower control arm bushings, upper ball joints, stabilizer link, front and rear shocks, Spark Plugs, Radiator, Thermostat, Water Pump, Coil, Distributor cap and rotor, wires, and PCV valve. Have receipts for most of the parts. Frame, body, trunk, floor pans are all very solid - see pictures. Needs: New radio antenna (I have the part - just needs to be installed). Power Brake Booster (Just ordered the part and it should be here by Wednesday (4/1/15). Dash has a crack down the middle. The rear deck has two holes where the 6X9 Speakers were removed. The headliner has a small cut and the material can be purchased on ebay for $100. There are a couple of bumper stickers that I am in the process of removing. Besides that she is ready to go!
