(Selling this car for a friend). Here is what I know about this car..... 1966 Mustang coupe with 6-cylinder engine, A.T., P.B., Pony interior, black padded top, Sony radio, cassette tape player, Mustang logo front carpet protectors, seat belts.. Bought new and always owned/driven in Santa Barbara, CA. Current (2nd) owner has owned it since 1974 and has maintained it locally. All receipts since 1974. 210,000 miles. She has always had done whatever was needed on the car, including transmission rebuild, radiator, muffler, valve job, tires, etc. Always covered. A very STRAIGHT Mustang. Driveability : Drives well. Engine runs well, transmission shifts fine. Steers easily without power steering. No front end play. Stops fine, pedal a bit low. Some rattling in back. Mechanic recommended replacing shock absorbers. Body exterior: Once hit in rear, so deck lid was replaced, rear bumper has ding. Right side door scraped with minor dent. Rust at bottom of both doors (typical of these cars). See photos. Dent in lower right rear near bumper. Minor dent (bumped up) on hood. Interior: Black "Pony" interior. Front seat covers need replacing. Front carpet worn on driver's side heel area. Headliner, dash vinyl, rear seat all excellent. Driver's door armrest torn/worn. Door panel was evidently removed and not reinstalled correctly per bent attaching clips. Passenger door window mechanism stuck so needs to be repaired.
