Vehicle Body off restored fall-winter-spring of 2012-2013. Vehicle stripped of all doors,trunk, glass and any bolt on parts down to bare shell,shell media blasted, painted and reassembled using vast majority new parts. NO rust, NO dents. Several cosmetic items as badges,glass and door handles retained for petina and honor. Nearly all parts on car replaced new, taillamps, headlamps, brightwork, window seals, door and trunk seals, grille with rally spot lights,dashboard reupholstered, interior royal blue seats, shift boot,and door trim panels, seats reupholstered with custom match covers, Floor console with and headliner custom made in Britain. Custom matching royal blue speaker pods incl high output Alpine stereo with USB and Bluetooth inputs, MB-Quart speakers, and trunk mounted subwoofer. Steering wheel profesionally reconditioned as new. New carpet,floormats, sound deadening. Engine rebuilt, early 60's model bored 30 over,block shaved,pistons custom long skirt,flat top 4 ring JE's with custom numbers scribed to each.Power seal rings, 3 compression ,thicker lower oil rings(.165 oil rings) ,pistons weight matched to the gram. Rods weight matched. New (zero oversize) clevite standard bearings. Performance cam, high volume race oil pump. Big valve late 60's head. 11.5+ compression ratio,will run on 87 but prefers premium. Engine custom painted to match contrast blue of car. All electrical wiring,harness completely reconditioned and custom wired. All new waterpump and cooling system components. New brakes,shoes,wheel cylinders,lines and master cylinder. Have records and documentation of import as well as MOT inspection reports & records of service during use in Britain prior to import. Since completion of restore has won consistent 1st place as well as People's Choice awards. Starts ,runs and drives strong. Garage stored and kept,washed and dried after every drive before retiring for the day. Stored since Sept 2014 noticed some oil from crank seal. approx 200 miles on car since restore.
