Price: US $6,900.00 SOLD OUT
This truck has passed through three owners. I acquired it in 2006. It showed about 67,000 miles then and I have the log that the original owners kept. The truck had a cabover camper on it for 38 years and I suspect that it was a weekend RV only. The 1966 under dash A/C blows cold. . Clutch new at 68,000 miles. . U joints and trued driveshaft at 68,000 miles. . New radiator, July, 2014. . New battery, 2012, about 72,000 miles. . New fuel pump, 2013. The things that I would do if I kept it would be to repaint, as it is losing clear coat, etc. Also, I would plan a rebuild of the engine in the next 5,000 miles or so, as there is wrist pin noise. This is also sometimes called "piston slap". It is noisy and that is about all, as I have run the engine 7,000 miles with no incidents. It still pumps good oil pressure and the combustion chambers are clean with good compression in all cylinders. I run it at 60-65 mph easily, but it is revving up there, maybe 3,500 rpm when I do so.
