1957 Chevy Bel air 2 dr post The car has a great running 327 with nice thumper cam, aluminum intake and Holley duel feed carburetor. The transmission is a 700R4 overdrive, the rear end is stock. The car has a 2nd Gen Camaro front clip so it sits very nice and low with power steering and power front disc brakes. The car was built many years ago so it will need to be repainted as it's starting to show it's age lots of touch ups and imperfections. The stainless trim is still nice and most of the chrome is ok, just starting to show some bad spots. The car does have some rust to repair the floors have been patched from the top and the old rust was not cut out and some of the braces are rusted. The trunk pan was replaced years ago and around the edge where it meets the inner wheel house was never caulked properly. The rear drop off is also rusted where it meets the rear pan. These are common area's and easily repaired. The last owner passed away and was in the middle of replacing and door glass and the family lost the drivers door panel and garnish molding. The passenger door glass and rear both should be replaced as well. The windshield and rear glass are good. The wheels are Boyd Coddington 17" with good tires. The exhaust is flowmaster and it sounds very nice. The car runs and drives good but I would consider it a project as it will need things done to it. You could just replace the glass and door panel and drive as it is to your local shows if your not worried about winning a trophy. If you wanted a show winner it will need to be redone again.
