This Mercedes-Benz handles well and is in good condition for a car of its age. The interior has some minor wear and tear, such as frayed carpet and wear on the seats, but the colors are bold and the material is intact. The exterior is a luxurious chocolate brown and is almost flawless. Aside from some hot glue under the silver accent on the front passenger door and a missing metal rod from the front grill, the car is cosmetically in very good condition. The odometer currently sits at 464,412 miles, and this old car has a lot of life left in it. The engine was rebuilt at right around 400,000 miles, so there are about 64,000 miles on the rebuilt engine. Aside from that, it sports all original parts (with the obvious exceptions of brakes, tires, and the battery). It runs well and is very comfortable and easy to drive. The diesel engine gets decent gas mileage and can take you far. The car is mechanically in good condition, as far as we know. It had only one owner from 1978 to 2011, and was regularly maintained. We have a few service records, but not all of them. Since we purchased it in 2011, the car has largely been garaged, but we have not experienced any mechanical issues or other defects while driving it. The car was originally purchased in Seattle, Washington. It is now in Lacey, Washington, and has been maintained locally for its entire lifespan. This car has never once been left outside overnight; the previous owner garaged it every night and we have kept it garaged any time it has not been in use since 2011.
