62 Corvair is a project car. I have had it for several years. I just don't have the time to restore it. Body and frame are very good, no rust. Engine has carburetor issues. It ran great up to year ago. I believe it needs carb kits and then they must be synchronized. It will run now but seems to have issue getting fuel or it simply maybe getting too much air. Bottom line I don't think the engine has any major issues. I have allot of parts for this car as well as the wire hubcaps (see picture) that are more difficult to find. I also have a Corvair air conditioner compressor. It is not original equipment on this car but looks to be rebuilt and in good shape. The convertible top is very good, seats are Ok but probably needs some repair. Door panels are not great but could be used. Car will also need carpet and window seals. The brakes have a line issue that needs repaired. I have new shoes and wheel cylinders for 3 of the 4 wheels. Car has nice potential and is much better than many I seen on line.
