This Westfield car is a 1961-Lotus-7-inspired vehicle (This is NOT a 1961 Lotus 7), sold as a kit, and basically arrives as a chassis with the parts, and you put it together yourself! It makes a fun two-seater open top roadster, a very basic car, but with great driving characteristics and is often used for racing. More about Westfields can be found here: http://westfield-sportscars.co.uk/ This version of the kit does not use a 'donor' vehicle. For Sale is an unfinished project: it's a 1800 Speed Sport model, modular build, âpost officeâ red, purchased and started in 1998 in England, then shipped here to Arizona about 10 years ago. The only major parts you will need to buy to complete it are seats, wheels, tires, carpets and gauges; however there is a lot of the build yet to go, and have fun with (I estimate itâs about 60% done). I have the original receipts from Westfield for the purchase of the first 3 modules, along with various receipts for other parts bought both in the USA and Europe. Itâs right-hand-drive and never been driven because it's not completed (yet). Yes, it has a heater! Please note: The bodywork is not new and is from a left-hand-drive and will need some changes to make it work, such as moving the speedo, rev counter etc to the other side. The Roll bar is not an exact fit and mounting holes will need to be changed. It has a soft-top but the material is worn and would need replacing. Other work that will be required changing the radiator to fit inside the ducted nose cone (the radiator is currently mounted to the chassis) The Speedsport engine is a Ford Zetec 1798cc 4 Cylinder, Ford MT75 5 speed gearbox, tuned to 155bhp, 135 ft/lbs@4750rpm , giving 0-60 in 5.3 seconds. The engine tuning was performed by a UK company called Scholar: http://www.scholarengines.co.uk/ Speedsport suspension package with front and rear anti-roll bars and TRAX SPAX shock absorbers. The front forks are chromed. Price includes everything built so far, plus parts ready to be added (such as a complete exhaust system, engine ECU, boot box, cycle wings etc.) Westfield modular manuals, Speedsport supplement and other Westfield build documentation.
