Here we have a matching numbers, 1968 Cadillac coupe Deville convertible. Equipped options are the 472 w/ a/c, full air ride, tilt column, and shaved door handles with door popper remote. This nostalgic piece of American history is in pristine condition, it is entirely rust free, and has never had any rust or collision repair. It has a clean California title and is currently registered. Smog exempt. Has air conditioning, power top, power windows, power seat, tilt column, cd/radio. Has a recently upgraded airbag system, including 2 VIAIR 480c high capacity air compressors, fed to a pressure switch in the 5gallon air tank that automatically turns on below 165psi, and automatically turns off at 200psi. No guessing, no risk of overloading. Also, as an upgrade and assist to this system, we've upgraded the original 55amp externally regulated alternator, to a 150amp heavy duty alternator with a built in voltage regulator to keep up with the constant voltage demand of the air compressors. This way they could* be on at all times, while still optimally charging and running the vehicle. The vehicle just received a Mobil 1 full synthetic 15k mile oil change, auto lite iridium spark plugs w/ new wires, and a newer hei style cap and rotor. It also has brand new Coker classic white wall tires ($1000) just installed with original wheels and hubcaps. This car is turn key, and runs and drives wonderfully at any speed. The car stays remarkably cool under LA's worst high heat traffic and driving conditions. The temp gauge has never risen past 30% since owning it, well under the half way mark. For the asking price, we will include a new convertible top in the color and material of your choosing. The top is perfectly functional, but the material could use replacing. Otherwise the price is negotiable and mostly looking for cash, but high value trades + cash will be considered. The paint is easily still 6/7-10, and is the only aspect of its condition that might not qualify as "show quality", but in every respect this is one of the most show worthy collectible cars I have come across. Again the only modifications from stock are the air bag suspension system, the charging system, and the shaved door handles.
