Price: US $4,400.00 SOLD OUT
Now for the good: I have replaced the carbuerator, fuel pump, fuel filter, sending unit, starter and solenoid, voltage regulator, battery, battery cables, points, plugs, wires and cap. The factory 292 has had a top end rebuild, starts easy and runs great. Truck runs cool and doesn't over heat. Brand new steering wheel and center cap, (horn doesn't work) put a new horn relay as well. New arm rests. New wheel bearing and grease caps,I replaced the king pins and shackles, eyes and bushing. kept the leaf spring because they are plenty strong. Installed a new steering damper as well as the drag link and tie rod ends. I rebuilt the entire manual brake system. Flushed the system, rebuilt the master cylinder, replaced all the rubber hoses, brand new wheel cylinders all the way around, new pads and springs, brand new brake drums. I put new parking break cables and replaced the pull handle too. The parking brake does NOT function. I found a few hard to find parts to remedy this but haven't installed yet. I took of the rust factory trailer type mirrors, and bought the sleek round style with the bullets on them. The seat had been re-apolstured right before I bought it two years ago. I installed a new ignition switch and had the door cylinders re-keyed to match. Also keyed the lock on the factory tool box. (passenger side at lower bed) Replaced the glove box liner too. I replaced the door seals and window felts too, passenger window sometimes falls out of track do to broken tab when rolled down. I replaced the rubber gaskets around the wing windows, they are a little stiff to open and close now. Some new parts and used included that haven't been installed: front windshield rubber rear leaf spring U-bolts (4) front leaf spring rear bushings(2) dash bezels (2) one with speedo, other blank lower passenger side door hinge five steel ford rims 5"x15" non matching years original oil bath air filter Shop manual converted to sheetprotectors in a 3 ring binder operators manual some brake parts to fix the parking brake in rear drums original horn ring original wing side view mirrors (pitted and rusty) dual side steel toolbox Bottom line is: This is a great truck to fully restore, hot rod or just drive it and have fun.
