Selling my RAIII ragtop, 1 of 249 made. A lot of work done but finances have change. Frame off started and 99% of all metal work done. Couple spots in trunk, that were supposed to be done but sheet metal guy is going through bad divorce. So I had to get my car out asap. It's ready for paint. I had it at paint guy, but...finances changed. There's too much to list but I've got all of the hard parts to find. Brief description but it's best to call or email. Complete, real, date correct 65,000 mile, standard bore WS. It was pulled from a wrecked Judge in 1974, put into a '65 GTO convertible until 1992. When the owner decided to fix original '65 motor. It's been in a heated garage ever since. It's very clean and spins easily. I was told it doesn't need rebuilding. A new timing chain was installed at 60K miles. My thought was to take it to my machine shop and have them inspect it, clean and reassemble it. Due to the fact it was a great running motor when pulled out of '65. #48 heads that were crack checked and cleaned, very nice and real #8273 carb, #970 distributor, factory manifolds, date correct alternator. All the ram air stuff is excellent and GM. Ram Air hood is perfect. It's a M-21 transmission and 3.90 rear car and I have both. Complete drive train. with very nice shifter, rods and lock out. There is not exhaust for car other than manifolds. Interior is driver quality at best and should probably be recovered. Dash has small crack but is still soft. I was told it could be repaired and doesn't need to be restored. Center console has already been restored. Car dosen't have carpet or new top. Rear bumper is original and good for re-chrome. Non-hideaway/ non-tach or gauges car originally but has them now. New gas tank, straps and sending unit. New metal tail light bezels, engine harness, hood hinges, core support, ram air cables, z-bar etc, NOS dated voltage regulator, NOS idle stop. No Wheel well moldings or rocker moldings. All other stainless present. Frame was blasted and primed but need to come back out to be painted and have new bushings installed. extra set of front and rear control arms come with car. I also have the new rear bushings already. New body bushings. Complete floor & fender patches. Half of the passenger 1/4 replaced and outer wheel house. Driver's 1/4 was an NOS installed back in the day. Deck lid is solid and original with nice trunk stainless. Options are: RAIII, M-21, 3.90, remote mirror, console, tinted glass. Verdro green with black to and interior. Has power steering now and I have disc brakes for it. Poverty hub cap car, no Ralley II's.
