Classic 1937 Chevrolet Street Rod Up for sale is this fine example of a vintage and traditional 4 door sedan Chevrolet street rod using up-to-date and modern modifications for comfort and dependability. Owner started with a restored 1937 Chevrolet sedan (as photographed), added a 1995 Corvette driveline, independent front suspension, up to date wiring, and air conditioning. This project was started in 2002 and is 95% complete. There are less than 3000 miles on the odometer. It is due to health reasons the car is up for sale. This ’37 Chevy is reliable mechanically and electrically, it just needs some TLC and detail to be a true show winner. Please view ALL photos carefully and feel free to call with any questions. SPECIFICS BODY 1) All steel, 1937 Master Deluxe 4 door sedan, painted in its original Ivy green with black fenders. There is very little body work in the car, but there are some problem areas, which include a cracked passenger window. Floor pans and frame are solid. 2) All of the windows and vent wings operate normally. 3) Chrome is in fair condition ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, & DIFFERENTIAL 1) 1995 Corvette (Vortec) 350 cu. in. with tuned-port fuel injection. Rebuilt to stock specifications and 10:1 compression ratio. 2) Sanderson ‘block hugger’ headers 3) HEI ignition 4) 4L60E, 4-speed automatic transmission 5) A/C unit which blows plenty of cool air 7) Walker Heavy duty radiator 8) 1957 Chevrolet rear differential with 3.55:1 gears 9) 16 Gallon Stainless steel gas tank 10) Custom battery box SUSPENSION 1) Mustang II independent front suspension with rack and pinion steering 2) Power brakes with 11†discs up front and drums in the rear. 3) Tires are Radials by Cooper on Cragar wheels: Front 195 x 60R x 15 Rear 235 X 70R x 15 INTERIOR 1) Original ‘mohair’ in excellent condition 2) “Classic†gauges: Speedometer, Volts, Water Temp, Oil Pressure, and Fuel level (in good working order) 3) Lokar shifter 4) 1995 Corvette tilt steering column 5) Kenwood AM/FM/CD player 6) Painless wiring harness and fuse box.
