1966 Ford Fairlane GTA. This is one beautiful car. This is a true S-Code big block Automatic that has just undergone a complete restoration. This restoration began with a super solid original car that was keep in storage for over 20 years. There are no rust issues with this Fairlane GTAThe restoration included the following:* New Emberglo Paint *1. Re-chromed Front & Rear Bumpers2. New Gas Tank3. New fuel lines4. New Brakes 5. New Headliner6. Console refurbished & re-chromed7. New rubber seals (where needed)8. New Tail Lights9. New Door Panels (front & rear)10. New front arm rests.11. New Springs and Shocks12. New Ford 9" 3.50 Posi Rear End Rebuilt: 1. The original 390 CI motor. 2. The C6 Automatic Transmission 3. Holly Carburetor We finished the restoration this morning by installing a Ford 9" 3.50 gear ratio Posi rear end.. The original 9" rear end with 3.00 gears comes with the car. The stock exhaust manifolds with Flowmaster mufflers. The original 10" rear brakes completely restored. To give the car it's 1960s aggressive stance, we replaced the old leaf spring with new one with a 2" lift. This allows us to put some brand new BFG Radial TAs 205/60R-15 in the front - 275/60R-15 in the rear. The car was originally an A/C car. It did not have the A/C parts when I purchased it. We looked into installing modern AC using the existing vents, but I wanted to leave that as an option for the next owner.I have driven the car over 500 miles since I purchased it including one trip from Houston to Dallas (300 miles). Absolutely no problems with it.Thanks This is a true S-code car, the VIN on the door tag, radiator support and front inner fender matches. The car is done back to correct colors as per the door tag.
