1967 MG Midget Convertible - Fully Restored & Rebuilt EngineThis 1967 MG Midget was completely restored to show quality both inside and out two years ago. The car continues to drive and handle exceptionally. She comes complete with all the original options, a wooden Moto Lita steering wheel, wire wheels with knock off hubs, a chrome luggage rack, leather seats, new carpeting, new convertible top, tonneau cover, and top-down cover. In addition to a complete mechanical restoration, modern wiring harness, new U.S. alternator, electronic distributor, dual carbs, rebuilt Bendix starter, and an optimized coolant system (she has no problems in 90 weather!) the 1275 engine has also been completely rebuilt and idles like new. New front brakes and rear disc brakes, and fantastic suspension, very smooth. The body and under carriage have been repainted and resealed, the car has always been dent and rust free. All rubber body, door, trunk, and window seals have been replaced. The interior is completely restored with new carpeting throughout, new old stock door panels, and leather seats. A new cd player with aux input and usb charge port has been added. Original refurbished 1960's front speaker unit, and two new rear speakers.The only issues are, a fracture in the exhaust header, which I don't mind, she's not loud, just delightfully "growly", and a paint wrinkle below the gas cap, from spilled gas, was quoted about $450 to fix. I am reluctant to part with "Little", as we call her, but I recently married, and a sedan is the more "practicle" choice for us... Now you can have all the fun drives and head turning for yourself! In the condition this car is, the maintenance is easy, oil changes, tune up every 3 - 4 months. no hassle daily driver.
