I have a 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 4x4. I drive it 3/4 times a week. Chevy V8, manual 3 on the floor. It runs great. Body is nice, straight and I have not found any rust. Disc brakes all around, power steering, bucket seats, roll bar, new Eagle alloy wheels and Goodyear Wrangler Duramax tires. Garage kept and well cared for. The center console is basically a locking steel safe with a Sony stereo CD inside. It has been wired for a CB and has a USB port. I just had the transmission rebuilt Everything works accept the windshield wipers. It has new gauges. I have the extra black diamond plate steel half doors that match. I also have both the bench seats that need to be refinished. I have the canvas for the a bikini top but it doesn't fit yet. It has a small leak from the valve cover gasket. I bought this a couple months ago from the son of the original owner or so I was told. He didn't know much about about it so I have been trying to piece together what exactly I bought. I am tempted to sink some real money into it but I thought I would try to sell it one time. After driving it I have decided I would rather have an automatic. I am really starting to like it though. The guys at No. Cal Transmission who did the transmission work on it really liked the car. Thank you for looking.
