My son just purchased a old house, barn and 38 acers. He has a true barn find. I helped him pull it out of the barn on 4 flat tires. The previous owner drove the car in the barn and parked it in 1983. It is a 1969 Ford Fairlane 500 Fastback 302 2V Auto Air Condition car.Car is missing 3 chrome trim rings and 1 moon center cap. Missing 1 chrome piece on drivers side. Car has surface rust as shown in pictures. We clean up the car and sprayer white primer on some of the rusty spots. Car needs a headliner and a neutral safety switch have to start car in neutral. Alternator light is on. Windows need regulators have to pull up on them when rolling up. Hood hinges are sprung and need to straighten hood . The only major rust I have seen is where the tail light panel and trunk panel meet and needs trunk lid. Air Condition not working. Good starter car everything is here. Would need to be restored. Car runs and drives. I have driven it about half a mile. It would need to be trailer. Alabama did not start titles until 1975. No title never had one. Car is for sale locally for $4500.00 I reserve the right to end auction early. A $500.00 deposit is require after auction ends.
