Price: US $16,900.00 SOLD OUT
Full asking price includes shipping in the lower 48. I'm selling my 1965 VW Bug. Car had been completely restored inside and out by previous owner. I have always wanted a bug like this and purchased it for some nice weather cruising and the occasional car show etc...unfortunately I lost my girl to Cancer a few weeks ago and I must sell to pay off other bills. It's in great condition! Car has 92K on the odometer and is on the original pan. The paint is Dupont Chromabase 692R Impression Blue. The interior is a gray tweed with blue piping from Sew Fine Interiors. It has a 2387cc Stroker motor with high flow fan kit. It will get up and go! The engine was installed in late 2013, and easily has under 10,000 miles on it. Previous owner only drove it on weekends and I've put less than 300 miles on it since purchase. It has a 4 speed Rancho Performance transmission, and I just replaced the shift bushing and rear coupler, so it shifts flawlessly. It has an Air Kewld 4" narrowed front beam, Air Kewld Air-Ride System, and Air Kewld 4 wheel disc brakes. Stainless steel brake hoses, and hard lines replaced. Oil cooler with thermostatic fan, external remote oil filter, 3 point seatbelts front and rear. Steering box has been replaced, Scat close ratio shifter, Staggered set up... 17" Billet Specialties wheels with 205/40/R17 Federal SS595 tires on the front, and 18" Billet Specialties wheels with 225/40/R18 Federal SS595 tires on the rear. Clutch pedal extender assembly, Kwik Wire harness, recently replaced Duralast Gold battery, JVC stereo, Alpine amp with Kicker speakers front and rear, including sub. New gas tank and electric fuel pump. All fluids changed within the past month. Car was appraised at 17,400.00 and will come with the appraisal docs. I also have the chrome bumper for the rear and an extra deck lid from a 64 convertible with the louvers. Air filters replaced with K&N filters with Pre-filters, but also have chrome housings with filters. Asking 16,900 but will entertain reasonable offers. If you need specific picture, just message me. Will assist in shipping at buyers expense. ***NOTE**** While in great condition, it's not perfect. There are a couple minor rock chips that don't really transfer in pictures but I will make a walk around video and driving video as soon as the rain moves out. Also, the lock cylinders in doors will need to be replaced. Links to YouTube below.. I also have it listed locally, so I will reserve the right to end early if need be...
