Up for sale is my awesome, 1973 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. This rig is a one-of-a-kind beast and has the original Inline 6 motor. I bought this vehicle in Georgia, where it was initially created to be a "rock crawler" type of rig. It has a full roll cage that is welded down to the frame at every point. The doors are also made from similar material (roll cage). Also has 3-link suspension that was professionally installed (before I purchased it). The vehicle also has a transfer case that was added to the transmission that allows it to run in multiple gear options. Pretty sure it has Dana front and rear lockers as well. I would say that at least 97% of any rust that was found was removed and/or repaired. The frame had very little (less that 1%) small rust spots that was eliminated with sand blasting and Por 15 (see pics). Rides on 36" TSL's. There has been over $25K invested in this vehicle, but I'm just trying to recuperate some of what I have invested into it. I wish I had the time and funds to keep it, but my wife wants it sold. My loss is definitely your gain on this one! This vehicle would be great for trail riding, rock crawling, or even in the dunes out West! Here's what's been done to it so far: 1. Converted propane fuel system back to a New Weber Carbureted system 2. Custom made, New aluminum fuel tank from Boyd Fuel Tanks (approx. 11.5 gallons) 3. New fuel lines 4. New fuel pump 5. New fuel sending unit 6. New fuel gauge 7. New power steering pump and pulley 8. New steering box 9. New rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes 10. New brake lines 11. New brake pads 12. New clutch master cylinder 13. New clutch slave cylinder 14. New battery 15. New alternator 16. New bushings 17. New tinted windshield and molding 17. New seats with harnesses 18. All New front floor boards (from midline of vehicle forward) were removed and new metal installed 18a. All metal was welded in and re-enforced with 1" rectangular metal tubing underneath (see pics) 20. New custom made heavy duty, black, denim soft top with clear rear plastic 21. New paint with Toyota Quicksand color 22. New, black rhino-lining on inside tub with an overlay of flex-seal 23. New rear jump seat (not bolted down yet, see pics) 24. New steel bumper/stinger with winch plate (welded to frame) 25. New water temp gauge 26. New oil pressure gauge 27. Recent valve adjustment and oil change with Mobil 1 Fully-synthetic $500 deposit via certified PayPal account due within 24 hours of auction close.
