I purchased this pickup from the original owner in Central Florida, who bought it new in 1973. The truck starts every time, and once warmed up drives as it did when new. It leaks no oil, burns no oil, and doesn't smoke on start up or when driving. Making room in our driveway and I simply don't drive it that much. When I bought the truck, I replaced every mechanical part that was required to pass inspection and make it drivable. I have receipts for the following repairs: all new wires and hoses, rebuilt carburetor, new plugs / points, new windshield wipers, new gas tank and all gas lines, new brakes, new shocks, new tires, seat cover, new radiator, completely new exhaust system. Very drivable / dependable. The truck has been repainted at some point in its life, and it's not a great job. From 10' away it looks fine, but if one wants it to be concourse, it would need a repaint and some rust repair in the front of the bed, where it appears there was some Bondo applied at some point. But it's minimal. The only other rust I've found is small surface rust on inside bottom of driver's door. I'm happy to provide additional pictures as needed.
