Price: US $5,500.00 SOLD OUT
My wife's grandfather bought this car from the original owner about ten years ago and gave it to my wife, so we're the second owners. It's an Arizona car and has been stored covered and in a garage since it got to Utah so there's no rust to speak of at all. The exterior is in very good condition. We had to replace the driver's side rear door panel due to a parking lot fender bender, but it was replaced with an original panel from another 280 SEL. The interior is completely functional, but it's old, so it could definitely use some love. We just had the work done to bring it up to snuff with Utah safety and emissions. All of the parts inside and out are original except for a modification to the windshield washers required by the Utah safety check. There are some minor issues that should be fixed, but they don't affect the drivability of the car. The fuel gauge intermittently drops to empty regardless of actual fuel level, the drive selector always shows "P", the driver's window sits a little low, and the lock in the same door doesn't function at the moment. Otherwise, it's completely ready to go. With a pretty simple restoration effort, this car would be in near-new condition.
