Price: US $3,400.00 SOLD OUT
You are bidding on my well maintained daily driver 1972 triumph spitfire Mk IV. It has been converted too electronic ignition (petronix conversion) as well as a aftermarket weber carb. This makes the car extremely reliable compared to points and the stromberg carbs and saves you the upgrade cost of over $600. These upgrades are must for reliability and performance. Beginning of 2014 season it had a new convertible top installed, new clutch/brake master cylinder, muffler, and complete front suspension including brakes. The back end was checked and u-joints and rear brakes hoses where replaced. At the same time I had the coolant and brake lines flushed. The exterior is painted a nice british green(my favorite color for british cars) and rust free. Currently I can only think of 2 things I was going to do this winter to the car. I bought new door pins for the driver door sag fron 40+ years of us and the windows need to be adjusted to the top. these are small things but want to mention them. Reason for selling is Im building a spit six and need funds. Note: Vermont does not title cars this old so there is no title with the car.
