It is powered by the numbers matching 351W block with multiple power adder additions. The engine was built using a Edelbrock performer RPM build sheet that nets 400Hp. Aluminum heads, performer cam, 750 carburetor, and long tube headers were just the beginning of the performance parts used. The engine is attached to a Hurst shifted top loader 4 speed and goes to a detroit locker 9" 3.50:1 rear end. The suspension was completely restored using new springs, poly urethane bushings, new sway bar, and a aftermarket power rack and pinion steering. This BOSS also has 4 wheel disc brakes for stopping on a dime. The wheels are Vintage wheel works 16"x 8" with 245/45/16 tires all the way around. The interior has also been completely restored. Using new carpet, headliner, seat covers, and a tilt column 2 spoke factory steering wheel. Autometer tach, oil pressure, and water temperature gauges were added along with a upgraded stereo system.
