1977 450SL Not a cream puff but not a bad car either. Starts, runs and drives well enough with no funny noises, smoke or leaks from the engine or drive train. She has a strong running engine and transmission. Good solid car for someone looking for a driver that could turn heads with just a little attention. Solid undercarriage with the looks of new shocks and some recent suspension work. It has a rag top which needs replacement and it has some minor rust spots but nothing major. all around a pretty solid car that needs to be owned by someone who wants it. It needs the steering coupler replaced as most all do. The seats are fair with only one worn spot on the drivers seat piping that could be repaired. The cruise control and AC is not working and I have made no effort to determine why. Tires have lots of tread but look older and should be replaced before any highway jaunts. Has a fancy Italian Nardi steering wheel ($$$$) and dashboard hula girl.
