Now for the question everyone wants to know, what does it need??? Well, not much. The odometer and speedometer would be the 2 biggest issues. Neither work. The brake pads need adjusting as I can hear the pad rubbing against the drum at times. What works??? Just about everything else is in good to great working order. The lights, gauges, winch, 4wd, seat belts, and of course the drive train is all in great working order. Although I would never suggest a cross country travel in a classic car or SUV, I would not be afraid to take this FJ anywhere. What could be done to make it better??? It still needs boots for the transmission shifter and 4wd shifter It would add an awesome touch to add power disc brakes The rest will be up to the imagination and needs of the buyer but I would say there's really not much left to do except get in, drive and enjoy the looks you will get.
