1931 Ford 5 window coupe The ultimate "resto-mod" "barn find" "sleeper" model A coupe. The ultimate combination of old school original body with the perfect authentic actual patina paint combined with the reliability of a model drivetrain. The specs are: Engine: Chevrolet 350 rebuilt, .30 over, Holley 600 carb, comp cam, block hugger headers, new 3 core aluminum radiator, electric fan, dual exhaust out the rear. Transmission: GM T5 5 speed manual with overdrive. New clutch, new pressure plate, new release bearing, new u joints, custom built z bar and clutch pedal assembly. Mustang 2 front suspension, disc brakes, rack and pinion steering custom adapted to the factory steering column, tubular upper control arms. Coker wide white tires on 1935 Ford wire wheels. Ford 9" rear differential, coil over suspension, Morrison ladder bars, Moser axles, narrowed 9" housing Interior has been redone but many years ago and not by us, appears to be factory replacement style in black, complete but in decent condition not a restored show car. Factory dash, fuel gauge still works. Wiring has all been updated to 12 volt. New battery relocated behind the seat. Factory windows go up and down as expected, kick outs on wind shield, all hardware accordingly. The body is in good condition for its age, this is not a restored street rod "show car" if your looking for a factory looking "barn find" style model a this is it. I have included pictures of the rougher areas of the body, mainly the lower cowl panel patch panel area, the running boards and rear fenders. To us the "rough areas" all play into the theme or look of the car, this car is a head tuner for sure. The roof has been filled many years ago other than that the car appears to all be factory. The car runs great, doesn't over heat, gets great gas mileage with the overdrive transmission and steering is tight and right as a mustang11 front should be.
