The color of this car and carpet look a lot better than in these photos. I bought this car to keep but life happens and I do not want to ship a whole car collection to Arizona, which is where I would like to retire. It is a 1970 Chevelle Malibu. The odometer reads 01032 so I believe it only has 101,032 miles on the car. The whole interior is original except at some time a CD player was installed in the dash. They did a nice job but of course I would rather it have been left stock, even if it didn't work. The originality of this car is why I bought it. It is a numbers matching 307 power glide car. I can send pictures of underneath to someone really interested. This car has power brakes, power steering and A/C. All complete but the A/C compressor is locked up but I bought a new one and a new heater core. I have found no other problems with the car. It is really an awesome car to drive. i have been building automobiles for nearly 42 years and i was amazed at how dry and clean underneath of this car really is ! It even has original front floor mats same as original carpet (color stitch & age) with Chevelle logo stitched in. No cracks in dash, carpet is a lot better than it looks in this picture, the only flaw in interior I have seen is 1 stitch separation in seat. Motor date code is J28 9 (Oct 28 69) is when block was cast. Engine code is 3970024 which decodes to 307 69-73 Pass, Chevelle, Camaro, Nova and truck. # stamped in front of block is 10A109627 which the last 8 digits match the VIN. I think the first digit should be a 7 to match VIN but they mistakenly stamped a 1 for 1st digit. Other stamped #'s on front of block are T1031CNE. There is also a can of touch up paint with the car.
