Price: US $3,500.00 SOLD OUT
I'm selling my 1972 Tin-Top Westfalia Campmobile project. My intention was to restore it with my daughter but priorities have changed and we must let it go. It has sat untouched in my garage since purchasing it from a friend in June 2018. Most of the photos posted here are from our pre-purchase inspection from that time but I can take more upon request.Basically it is a fairly solid rolling shell with the original Campmobile interior including Z-bed. Minimal rust perforation. Brakes do not work but it rolls fine. The original 1.7 Type 4 engine was removed and disassembled and is included along with a complete transmission. I also have a locked-up 2.0 fuel-injected motor from a later Bus that is included. The wiring was removed under the dash and in the engine compartment but I bought a good used '72 front end/dash harness which is also included. The rest of the harness is widely available new and fairly inexpensive.Comes with some spare parts including an extra dash and an extra front bumper and some miscellaneous new brake parts including shoes, hoses and hardware.Clear Kentucky title in my name.
