I'm pleased to present my 1966 big block corvette. I haveowned this car 17 + years and have lovingly maintained it to a high standard.I'm presenting this car as a solid # 2 condition simply because I drive it occasionallyto keep it in good running order. Unfortunately, I nolonger have the time for two Corvettes that are driven only occasionally on sunny days, thus the lower than normal Buy It Now price.The car has a Nassau blue exterior and a white + bluevinyl interior with white seats, head liner, and door panels and blue carpet, console, anddash. Original big block car but not original motor/NOM 427ci engine with 4 speed manualtransmission. Features include knockoff wheels, gold line tires, originalAM/FM radio, and teakwood steering wheel. Originally assembled November 1, 1965per NCRS Shipping Data Report, this car is in excellent condition and has had extensiverestoration work, as an unsuspecting owner (me) poured a bunch of money into itthinking NCRS would not change their rules and eliminate judging of any carwithout the original trim tag. The replacement trim tag is faithful to theoriginal and shows the correct codes for when the car was new. The car wasjudged before this rule change and was judged at 83.2 points, high Third Flightand only 1.2 points shy of Second Flight. Restoration was continued but thenthe rule change hit. If judged today it would be mid- to high Second Flight. Thiscar's paint is good-very good, with a great shine and a couple nicks around the wheel wells. Chrome bumpers show a very goodfinish, and taillights, weather-stripping, and knockoff wheels and spinners are all very good-excellent. Goodyear gold line tires show an averageof 18/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior – seats, door panels, sillplates, carpet, seatbelts, gauges, glovebox lid, center console, and dash pods –shows good-excellent. The replaced OEM white door panels are included. OriginalAM/FM radio is in place and still works. The NOM 427ci engine shows a castingnumber from early 1967 model year with correct air cleaner, valve covers, andignition shielding. Exhaust system has less than 500 miles since installation.For an extra $500 I will include complete side exhaust including rear, solidfascia in the correct color. Extensive records and invoices dating back to 2002-2003are included. This car has recently been fully serviced, and all instrumentgauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are in verygood-excellent operating condition.If you are in the market for a collectible Corvette thatyou will absolutely love driving and showing, look no further.
