I have for sale my 67 convertible. This is a restoration From 10 years ago and a further sorting out in the past Couple of years. 327-350 hp motor, not original to this car but to another 67 Corvette. Rebuilt 10 years ago, runs very strong no issues. I have all the ignition shielding, I have owned Corvettes for 50 years, the shielding is a pita so I removed it. Just so much easier to work on now. The engine is a 350 hp Corvette engine produced a month after this car was built. M21 transmission, shifts beautifully. I installed a Hurst Competition Plus shifter, far superior then stock with an aftermarket “T†handle to resemble the original. I use RedLine 75-90 synthetic gear oil, “NS†(non slipâ€). Normal synthetic gear oil is to slippery for these older transmissions and the synchros can’t spin up quick enough. This oil allows the super smooth shifts plus no gear clash. The car has the aftermarket fiberglass rear spring, 330 lbs. Again far superior to the heavy steel springs. Much smoother ride, doesn’t bang and gives the flex it should have. Also I replaced the original 16 inch steering wheel with a 15 inch one that resembles the original. It’s easier to get in and out with the smaller wheel and with the power steering gives you a better road feel when driving. You can see from the repro window sticker the options on the car. EVERYTHING works! From the power windows, headlight buckets, warning lights,radio,wipers, dash lights, etc. The convertible top is in excellent condition with a crystal clear plastic window. Lots of recent upgrades, front suspension, new tires, new power steering pump,rack,piston and valve. Belts and hoses. High performance distributor, Pertronix ignition, new carpet, the list goes on. This is a beautiful body off restoration on an excellent frame and body to begin with. The car is finished to be the best driver that it can, for reliability, ease of driving and most of all fun. Correct Marina Blue paint and bright blue interior Corvette. To me the best combination ever for these cars. Ten’s of thousands of dollars have been spent to do this as you would imagine. The body lines are crisp and straight, albeit a few nicks and scratches. All the better to take it out and drive it! I’ve owned many garage queens and NCRS Top Flight Corvettes. They are lovely, but I was afraid to take them out. Kind of defeats the whole purpose in owning one I think. The frame is excellent, zero rust or problems.
