HISTORY: DODGE CORPORATION sued the Kit Car builder for making the custom fabricated molds and hand laid fiberglass exterior panels to look like a 1994 Dodge Viper exterior, after the builder had built two (2) of these Corvette Saber Kit Cars using 1976 Corvette C-3 base vehicles. Dodge Corporation saw one of the CorvetteSabers featured in the January 1994 issue of KIT CAR SPECIALITY MAGAZINE and the builder's ad advertising the Corvette Saber Kit Cars for sale in that issue of KIT CAR SPECIALITY CAR MAGAZINE. An "out of court settlement" was agreed upon by Dodge Corporation and the builder, that the builder cease making any more Corvette Sabers and that the builder alter the front grills by removing the lights from them, which he did so, but the builder left the light sockets behind the front grill screens. The where abouts of the second Corvette Saber is unknown and this Corvette Saber is the only one known to exist today. The builder contact information will be provided to the buyer, as well as the contact information for the person who did the 8 month full frame off restoration, prior to being displayed at the 2018 Carlisle National Corvette Show indoors by INVITATION.
