Price: US $12,500.00 SOLD OUT
This car has the original 287 V8 and has the original oil bath air cleaner. The engine does have a couple of oil leaks as expected for a 65 year old car that isn't driven much. It left a spot of oil about the size if a coffee can after sitting in my driveway for 2 weeks.I had been looking for a 1950's GM 2 door to build a gasser hot rod out of and bought this from the 2nd owner who had it for 38 years. After having it for a couple of months I couldn't bring myself to destroy the originality of this car by cutting it up to make a gasser, so I've decided to part with it and locate a more suitable car in not such nice original condition.I had a local shop put this car up on the lift to give me a report of the condition and they report that this has 90% of its original undercoating and no rust was able to be located. Not surprising after spending the last 38 years in Arizona, but this car was definitely taken care of for a very long time.In my opinion this car either needs to be restored or just driven just like it is. I have lots of paperwork for the car dating back to 1958. Message if you have questions or want more information.
