1970 Corvette Coupe special ordered from Huddleston Chevrolet in La Follette, TN May, 1970. Factory Ordered Options:- 03A31AA Power Windows- 03C60AE 4-Season Air Conditioning- 03J50AN Power Brakes- 03M40AG Turbo Hydramatic- 03N37AA Tilt - Telescopic Steering- 03N40AC Power Steering- 03PU9AA F70 X 15 White Lettered (now Goodyear Eagles)- 03PO2AA Special Wheel Covers (currently Corvette Ralleys)- 03U69AC AM/FM Pushbutton radio (now factory AM/FM Stereo radio)- 03424AM Saddle Custom Interior (ALL leather seats)- 03993AA Corvette Bronze I purchased the car in May 1982 and over the course of 40 years, restored or replaced literally every component. Emphasis on originality. During the 1980's GM NOS items were mainly purchased from Capitol Chevrolet Parts Department Nashville and Specialty Parts Delco Distributor Atlanta. Maintenance and restoration has continued over the years. Within the last 2 years the following was done: - Interior - complete removal & respray interior panels with light saddle dye, new Ecklers door panels, dash pad, clock, etc.- A/C system - new correct A6 compressor, restored original POA + expansion valves, hose assembly, condenser, evaporator, blower motor & controls, chrome outlets, R12, etc.- Windshield Wiper system - Ecklers supplied every switch inside dash, controls, hoses, '70 wiper arms, wiper motor, 5 port washer pump, vacuum motor and actuator, limiter switch, original cowl door restored, etc.- Rear differential - Replacement of every bearing, seal, posi clutches, original GM 3.08 ring gear/ pinion, crush sleeve, etc. Documentation: - State of Tennessee list of all owners with addresses and title numbers. - Original owner correspondence - Copy of the Chevrolet factory order document from Huddleston Chevrolet in LaFollette, TN - Gas tank sheet - Extensive GM parts & restoration receipts. Car has always been a Tennessee car. Since my ownership, it has never been driven in snow or on salty roads and only once caught in rain around 1983-4. Has spent every night in a heated, dry garage.
