1957 ford thunderbird survivor312 V8 runs great and automatic trans shifts smooth.New brakes all around. I just put on a new master cylinder, and it stops good. It has sat for years, and I just brought it back to life again. Longtime owner that had it before me took really great care of it. It is an 85,000-mile survivor with ZERO rust! Never had any rust and has no patch panels. Undercoating is original and is hard as a rock (not fresh), I haven't touched it. It has been repainted one time years ago in the lacquer color it is now. Original color is Flame red with a Colonial white top. I think it is very cool as it is and would drive it as a survivor.It has a hard top only, never came with a soft top. Yes, porthole delete! GOOGLE IT! 55's had no porthole, in '56 it was an option and in '57 portholes were standard, but porthole delete was an option.The back glass is out of the top because the previous owner had planned on repainting it. You will need to reinstall it with a new seal.It has a rare power seat. The things not working at this time are the clock, power seat and radio (may need some fuses). Lights, wipers, heater blower, amp gauge, fuel gauge, tach and speedometer and O.D.O. all work.Will need new tires if you're going to start driving it around. Will load on any transport.
