Price: US $19,500.00 SOLD OUT
This is great builder candidate Eldorado, will be a gorgeous car when completed. this car is NOT running. It appears to have been made in the colors you see now, white, with red and white interior. This is a fairly unmolested car, engine compartment almost appears untouched, original interior, radio, and so on.This is a very complete numbers matching engine 1955 Eldorado. This car will need rust repair in the floors and trunk. the frame and structural mounting pieces look good and i've included pictures of these areas. There has been some bad amateur body work done in the rear area of the car, but i was told by a paint/ body man it's not hard to make the quarter patch panel since it's just flat with very little contour. there are small areas of rust on front fenders. there appears to be NO rust in the trunk lid, hood, and doors. It doesn't need a full trunk, it's 90% very solid, just patches in my opinion. ALL of the factory 2 four barrel setup is here. all the linkages, tubing, everything. Nearly impossible to find some of that stuff. glass appears good except drivers door is cracked.what i know is missing; gas tank, passenger side wheel well trim, thin trim for rear on round bumped out area. (gas tank and thin trim strips available reproduction)previous owner bought all the metal to completely redo floors and patch the trunk. as well as inner and outer rockers. this goes with the car. also 5 eldorado only saber wheels go with the car, all in average driver quality condition. in addition the nearly impossible to find floor mats are included. i DO NOT have the parade boot.in addition--- i have a bunch of extra parts that could get thrown in with the car, depends on how long it takes to sell since i am listing them here on ebay almost daily. when the car sells, i'm just putting the rest in the trunk and not listing any more. for example a beautiful set of seat motors w/ brackets, 30-plus pieces of trim, 2 extra power brake units, PS pump, door handles, complete window wash jar, complete heater fan/ motors/ housings, nice windshield, sun visors, and on and on. i'll estimate easily $3000-$4000 worth of parts. these ARE NOT parts the car needs to be complete, but duplicates you can either upgrade with or sell.i've restored one of these and i know these cars very well. on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the easiest/ best project 55 Eldorado to restore, this is probably a solid 6 in my opinion. i base that mostly on how complete it is. $10,000 of this auction goes to CURE International. a Christian Charity that provides truly life changing surgery for children with various birth defects and disabilities.note; rear bottom seat IS INCLUDED, just not in pics to show floor
