This is a 1972 Jeep Commando with the 258 inline six engine and manual 3 speed transmission. This vehicle runs and drives. Four wheel drive works. This JEEP gets attention wherever it goes. There are always comments. A nice set of "Mudders" would make this JEEP outstanding! I have to many projects going on, so this one has to go! (ALSO SUGGESTED BY WIFE!) The GOOD: This vehicle is becoming RARE. Starts and drives. Four wheel drive works and will climb anything. Power steering has been added. Front steering components have been replaced, except for ball joints. Ignition has been upgraded to "Pointless". Comes with Bikini top. Rear seat and many extra parts included. IE rear axel, transfer case, auto transmission, and small MISC to include an original radio.(Parts are used, not rebuilt or new). The BAD: Power Steering belt broken during "Last Trip". Needs carburetor rebuilt. VERY low gearing, Max speed of 55 MPH. (Possibly a good thing) Seats are worn and torn. The rear tail gate was removed and a metal panel welded in by Previous owner. Recommend trailering, due to power steering and low gearing. I am sure there are missing GOOD and BAD. A deposit of $500.00 will be required within 48 hours of winning bid, by PayPal.
