I ran the VIN and it said built in San Jose, CA, near where we purchased it from the previous owner though he is not the original owner. Original owner was from nearby Campbell, CA. It has a 352 V8 engine with a manual choke so it takes a little time to warm it up. Has on occasion popped out of park into reverse when warming up so we keep a curb behind it. The odometer has probably turned over once. Original door and ignition keys. When we first acquired it in 2014, we had it switched over to power steering, with a new steering wheel (original was cracked, which is common), and that made it much easier to turn corners or park it. Added a new muffler and tail pipe, had all the emblems put back on, the engine painted blue and a few other minor fixes. New alternator (not refurbished) in 2017. We have all the invoices for all the work done. Original black/yellow California plates on back and front. The paint looks to be original with surface rust (patina). The bucket seats we believe are original but could be wrong, there are levers on the driver and passenger side underneath to move them. It is exempt from smog in California and we have paid the registration thru Feb 2023, just haven't put the stickers on yet. The seats are worn especially on the driver's side. The dash is cracked and has a cover. Selling AS IS. We do not suggest driving it long distances. Buyer is responsible for pickup/shipping.
