This auction offers my 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A survivor in very rare DY3 Cream with dark green interior. It is fully numbers matching including the cowl tag, cowl stamp vin, radiator support vin, door vin, original T/A engine vin, original automatic transmission vin, and includes the original build sheet. I have owned the car for seven years and have a clean and clear title in my name.The T/A is very solid. Fenders, quarters, etc are all original and very solid. The trunk pan was professionally replaced but all other sheet metal is original to the car. I’m not a paint expert but it appears to be sporting its original DY3 factory paint. The car was originally from a very dry area of Arkansas.Engine runs good and I drive the car. I often take it to local car shows and drive ins, and folks go crazy over its survivor condition. There are some leaks, etc as to be expected given the car’s survivor status. Tires are new and correct polyglass. Exhaust is correct as well. Interior has had some thoughtful refreshing. Seats have been recovered in correct factory upholstery and carpet is correct and new. Gauges all work, and the oem radio was rebuilt. Some T/As had rallye gauges and some did not. This one has standard gauges but I purchased an OEM rally gauge set that was professionally rebuild by Redline, and bought a new wiring harness and the bits and pieces to convert over to rallye gauges if the new owner decides to. I’m selling the car as a numbers-matching survivor which means it presents as a very original 50 year old car which can benefit from occasional TLC.
