The Stutz Vertical Eight was a series of luxury cars introduced in 1926. The Vertical Eight was created after Harry C. Stutz had left the company he created, and new management decided to focus on high end luxury cars, as the brand had previously focused on high performance cars. The Vertical Eight was named for its inline eight engine which featured two spark plugs per cylinder. This series of cars was initially launched with the Model AA variant, followed by other variants such as the Model BB, Model M, Model MA, and Model MB. The two most notable variants were the SV-16 and the DV-32, these featured powerful and advanced engines that make them some of the most desirable examples of a Stutz car. Production of the Stutz Vertical Eight ended in 1935.The Ideal Blend of Race-Proven Mechanicals with Handsome LeBaron CoachworkGenerous 145" Wheelbase Chassis Well Suited to Convertible Sedan DesignEntrant at the Pebble Beach Concours dâElegance® Stutz CentennialA Classic Stutz That Can Be Enjoyed Top Up or DownTechnical Specs322 CID SOHC Inline 8-Cylinder EngineSingle Updraft Carburetor115 BHP at 3,600 RPM4-Speed Manual Gearbox4-Wheel Hydraulic Drum BrakesFront Solid and Rear Live-Axle Suspension with Leaf SpringsContact me if you have any questions or need a shipping quote.
