Up for sale is a beautiful 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS-396 mid-western car and always garage kept.Vehivle is equipped with a 396 V8, 4 barrel, automatic transmission, posi-traction, power steering, power brakes, am/fm stereo, bench seat, column shift, torque thrust wheels. Vehicle is a factory air conditioned car but the compressor and brackets are missing but other components are in place.This is basically an original car with one repaint (in its original paint code) a few years ago, minimal restoration was needed. The paint shows nicely with a brilliant luster. The original floors and trunk pans are solid. The undercarriage and frame are solid and are extremely clean!!!! This is a REAL SS-396 but vehicle doesnt have the original motor. The car has a rebuilt 396 (with a performance cam) it is out of a 1966 Chevelle block # (3855961) which is believed to be a 360 HP motor.The interior has new upholstery, carpet and door panels.Vehicle has new front and rear brakes, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, master cylinder, fuel tank, sending unit, edelbrock carburetor with electric choke, new tires, dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. Vehicle runs and drives extremely well with more than plenty of power. It is a pleasure to drive.
