Up for sale is one of my Custom-built Hot Rod Ford Model T's. This Hot Rod is a fresh build with no miles and never shown. The Body was built back in 1966 by well-known custom car builder Frank Guise of Lewiston Idaho. The body was never fitted to a Chaseys and was stored away for 50 years. I found it in the loft of a barn. The chasey's is a newly built T frame with suicide ford front end and modern disk brakes. The rear end is a 1950 Mercury with buggy spring updated shocks and open drive line. It has 40 Ford brakes on the rear with proportioning valve and 2lb and 10lb residual valves for proper braking. The engine is a 1952 Desoto Hemi, with custom made headers and it runs very well sounds great. It has a Hot Heads adaptor to a 350 Turbo transmission with 1950 ford steering Columb with shifter on the side and removeable steering wheel. The steering box is a new Vaga box. (Steers nice) The bottom of this car is as nice as the top. The body is channeled 3" over the frame and has all steel floors and bracing. A Tub is a Turing car with the rear door removed and the rear part of the body moved forward and reattached to make a Tub, as it is called in the day. (Big dill in the 50's and 60's) The body is very solid, and the black paint is nice. It has T headlights up front and 1947 Chevy taillights at the rear. Under the Tauno cover at the rear of the body is the gas tank and battery. It is running 1950 Mercury wheels on the rear with pie cut cheater slicks as in the old days and 1950 Ford wheels on the front. (a cool look) The interior is simple with custom built dash, black face gages and nice upholstery. I have been building cars for over 50 years and have had my cars on covers of magazines. I have 6 Hot Rod cars in my collection that I have built over the years but now I'm going to start selling them. If interested in my other cars I can send pitchers.
